“Live at Trinity Hall” with the Trinity Hall Session Players
On March 4th, 2004, the Trinity Hall Session Players released their first CD, a live recording taken from several sessions held earlier in the year. The project was underwritten by Trinity Hall Pub & Restaurant to enable the players to fund music workshops for people just learning traditional Irish music. The Session Players themselves began performing at the pub in October of 2002 and include most of the top players of traditional Irish music in the Dallas area.
The CD is a good representation of the Sunday sessions, and we encourage you to buy one at the pub or from any of the players, or you can purchase it online. All of the proceeds go to the Traditional Irish Music Education Society (TIMES), a non-profit organization, in support of the O’Flaherty Irish Music Retreat held in late October of each year. The cost is $10 plus $2 for shipping and taxes.
